Face to Face: Catalogue
Face to Face is a multi-media portraiture exhibition touring Australia as part of d/Lux/MediaArts's d/Tour program, and touring Asia in partnership with Asialink. Face to Face explore new forms of portraiture that incorporate a variety of different technologies from digital prints to single channel digital video and interactive installations.
Featuring works by fourteen Australian artists the exhibition includes a range of media including digital photography, video and interactive installation all of which provide a unique and engaging perspective on how digital technologies are reshaping our understanding and experience of contemporary identity.
The Face to Face exhibition catalogue includes an essay by the curator Kathy Cleland where she discusses the works in the exhibition and the broader ideas and concepts with which they engage. You will also find an essay by Anthony Bond in which he provides an historical context for portraiture in a digital age.
The Catalogue is downloadable in full colour interactive format.
