Face to Face: Education Kit
This Education Kit accompanies Face to Face: Portraiture in a Digital Age, an exhibition touring Australia as part of d/Lux/MediaArts' d/Tour program, and touring Asia in partnership with Asialink.
Face to Face invites you to explore new expressions of portraiture in a digital age. Featuring works by fourteen Australian artists the exhibition includes a range of media including digital photography, video and interactive installation all of which provide a unique and engaging perspective on how digital technologies are reshaping our understanding and experience of contemporary identity.
Face to Face comes with a menu of dedicated education resources where you can learn more about the exhibition, the artists and their works, as well as key concepts in new media arts and portraiture, and the impact of new technologies on art, artists and audiences. By Madeleine K Snow. The Face to Face: Education Kit can be downloaded here, either as a full colour interactive version, or as a print friendly B&W version.
