Interactive digital sculptures are taking the world by storm... be a part of the action!

dLux MediaArts are currently working with augmented reality expert Warren Armstrong. We have developed a touring exhibition and call out for virtual sculptors to participate in cutting edge technological art with zero carbon footprint. See virtual sculptures located in a site specific installation. In or around buildings, in streetscapes, even in the middle of paddocks, these sculptures can go anywhere.

This initiative is at the cutting edge of contemporary digital practice, and an (un)seen sculptures exhibition can be tailored to any venue, indoors or out for any time period.

dLux MediaArts will supply as exhibition equipment viewing devices for visitors to borrow if they do not have their own smartphone or tablet with a camera.

Each exhibition will be accompanied by a callout to people in the region to create their own virtual sculpture and submit it for possible inclusion in the exhibition. DIY guides are provided for those registering to participate.

We can supply educational programs to support this initiative including workshops and online resources.

Devices are easy to use, and help to engage audiences with new technologies through a fine art medium. An excellent way to educate audiences about new media practices and designed to coincide with interest created by the NBN rollout.

If you are interested in seeing the work and cant come to the office, we can locate one outside your venue!!

Warren has already successfully launched the highly successful (un)seen sculptures project nationally and more recently located works at the Venice Biennale.

Admittedly this is really difficult to explain in a few pages of presentation, so please check out the following links:

Viewers who have their own devices can download the Layar app free to interact with the works. This technology is very new and is developing at a rapid rate, providing galleries with the opportunity to showcase the most current global innovations and artworks while engaging local communities and artists.
