  1. Please Note: Video projects can be compressed to the HD codec H.264 for playback in VLC as VLC does not support Pro Res. Western Digital Media player (WDTV) will also playback H.264 and is a more affordable hardware option.The H.264 codec compresses HD video data to a much smaller file size than Pro Res and is suitable for larger projects however there naybe issues with image quality and motion.If your camera shoots at 1440 25p capture at that codec and export your pixel size at 1440 x 1080. It will still playback normally at 1920 x 1080i.If using a mini mac for video playback ensure that you have enough RAM or playback will be choppy. 4GB of RAM is recommended for the latest Mini Macs as of November 2009and 2GB for older models.;-)
