NEW IDEAS Design Forum
As part of Sydney Design 2010, the Historic Houses Trust, d/Lux/MediaArts and the College of Fine Arts (COFA) have collaborated to produce NEW IDEAS, a digital media exhibition exploring themes of heritage conservation and historic interiors through the history of Government House.
A highlight of the program is the NEW IDEAS Design Forum, which will focus on the use of digital media and technology in heritage interpretation.
Chaired by ABC Innovation’s Chris Winter, speakers include Historic Houses Trust’s Dr. Caroline Butler-Bowdon, Museum Victoria’s Tim Hart, UTS Creative Industries Innovation Centre’s Sarah Barns, Museum of Australian Democracy’s Kate Armstrong, Professor Ross Harley of Media Arts at the UNSW College of Fine Arts School of Media Arts and d/Lux's own Neil Jenkins.
