Alongside his visit to Broken Hill mervin Jarman and the iStreet dLux Lab team did four days of digital media and visual art workshops with Save the Children (STC).

Workshops

Regional Basketball Competition

The iStreet dLux STC team took the opportunity to involve young people through media in their local Basketball competition. Each team participated in a workshop that encouraged them to interview, photograph and film the various things that were happening around the game.

Wilcannia

Young people from Wilcannia  learned about different sorts of digital technology and programs as well as participating in more traditional forms of art media such as plaster moulds, painting, drawing and book making.

Many young people also returned from the basketball game to continue editing their photos and footage and also had a hand at experimenting with music programs and other software.
